Kim Jong Un calls for rapid expansion of drone technology and observes weapons tests

North Korean leader Kim Jong Un has called for a rapid expansion of the country's drone technology and oversaw tests of drones, missiles and other weapons, state media reported. The developments come amid rising tensions with South Korea following recent border incidents and renewed weapons activity. Kim's push to strengthen unmanned technology also comes as North Korea seeks to improve its military capabilities and potentially gain leverage in future talks with the US.
