Noel, Chandra secret truce talks reach no conclusion

Tata Sons chairman N Chandrasekaran and Tata Trusts chairman Noel Tata held talks aimed at easing tensions over key governance issues, including a possible Tata Sons listing, the Shapoorji Pallonji Groups stake and Chandrasekarans reappointment, but the meeting ended without a resolution. The dispute deepened the next day when Noel Tata challenged decisions taken at the September 17 Tata Sons board meeting and sought records related to the approval of Chandrasekarans new term.
