EC extends SIR timelines in Maharashtra, Delhi, Andhra, Haryana, Telangana & Nagaland

The Election Commission has revised the schedule for the Special Intensive Revision of electoral rolls in multiple states. The deadlines for filing claims and objections in Maharashtra and Delhi have been extended significantly. Claims and objections can now be filed until November 25 in Delhi and November 13 in Maharashtra. The final electoral rolls will be published on December 22 in Delhi and November 30 in Maharashtra.
