Varanasis new international cricket stadium, built across 31 acres at a cost of around Rs 450 crore, is nearing its competitive debut. With trishul-shaped floodlights, a crescent-shaped roof and a damru-inspired media centre, the 30,000-seat venue is preparing for domestic matches as the possibility of hosting IPL games in 2027 emerges.
