India's industrial output growth slows to 6.7% in September as manufacturing, consumer durables lose momentum

India’s industrial output growth slowed to 6.7% in September from 7.8% in August, missing market expectations of 7.3%. Manufacturing and electricity growth moderated, while mining contracted 6.2%. Industrial production grew 6.8% in April-September, up from 4.4% a year earlier.
